About Us
Asleda Kennel is a small family run kennel, west of Sydney, Australia. it is owned by myself and my daughter Renee. Our Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies share our property with our alpacas, and a variety of chickens.
Our love affair with this beautiful breed began in 1995 when we purchased our first Malamutes, Chief and his sister Gypsy, and from that moment on, we never looked back. Little did we know how much our lives would be transformed when we brought these two little bundles into our home and hearts. And this was the beginnind of our passion and addiction to one of the most beautiful dog, the Alaskan Malamute.
In 2003, Brock our first Siberian Husky joined our family, a bundle of energy which was shortly followed by his sister Tori, quite an exceptional girl. What a team and a dream come true these two have been, and we have become just as passionate with our Siberian Huskies.
All our dogs are brought up in a family environment. We are involved in many activity with our dogs, some of which include sledding, weightpulling, agility and of course confirmation showing.
We are also active members of various clubs, the Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW, the Hawkesbury Kennel All Breed Club, the Siberian Husky Club of NSW, and over the years have held various committee positions.
Companion puppies are occasionally available, by reservation, to select homes. We pride ourselves not only in the quality of type, but also in the temperament and genetic soundness in the Malamutes and Siberian Huskies we use in our breeding program. All our dogs are AMCA Chd certified and have all the relevant health clearances before breeding.
With our imported lines from some of the best line from the USA and Canada, our future looks bright. Asleda Kennel is moving forward and will always be dedicated to the improvement and welfare of the Alaskan Malamute
